What questions should I ask an attorney before I hire them?

Hi, this is Lucas Foust of Foust Law Office and I'm here to answer another quick question. This quick question concerns people who are considering hiring a personal injury attorney. What questions should they ask? Well, I have a list of questions of 10 questions that I think are really important that everybody should ask their personal injury attorney before they decide to hire that person.

Those questions include, and I'll go down the list. How long is your contract? Do you like your job? How many cases do you have right now? How often do you conduct focus groups? How many cases have you taken to jury trial? Do you carry malpractice insurance? Do you teach continuing legal education programs? What do you like about your job? When was the last time you went to a client's house? And finally, can you give me a list of three previous clients I can call?
