What about Domiciliary Care?

Hi, this is Lucas Foust from Foust Law Office. And I'm here to answer a quick question. And this quick question is one that I receive from people whose, usually their spouse has been involved in a very serious workplace incident and they require 24-hour care. I've handled a number of these cases, and it's really rough on a family to deal with a person who is so severely injured that they required 24-hour care. It happens more often than you might think, but it happens an awful lot in cases involving a traumatic brain injury, in cases involving a spinal cord injury, or other very serious, serious injury that makes it difficult for a person to handle their daily living activities.

Under Montana law, if your family member requires 24-hour care, and if you're able to handle those that care at home and have a family member provide that care, you may be eligible for what are called domiciliary care benefits.
