Where Do I Bring My Claim?
Lucas Foust:
Hi. This is Lucas Foust from Foust Law Office and I'm here to answer another quick question. This is a question that I receive from people who have been... Who are... Who lives in Montana, who may have been in a car crash in another state. And, the question is this. If I'm in a car crash in another state, can I bring a claim in Montana? Well, the answer, unfortunately, is no. Chances are you'll have to file that claim in the other state where you were driving. To do so, you may have to hire an out-of-state attorney.
Lucas Foust:
But to answer this question more clearly or to be able to get... To get down to the bottom of things, you may feel free to contact my office and we can either, A, answer the question yourself and help you through the process ourselves, or B, locate an attorney in that state whom we trust and whom we believe in. I have colleagues all across the country whom I know who are attorneys and I know some of the best attorneys in the country and I'm happy to point you in the right direction.
Lucas Foust:
So, even if you've been in a car crash in another state, please contact my office at Foust Law Office. Please download a copy of our book, as a lot of the same rules apply in most states. And, understand this. At Foust Law Office, we believe that an informed client is a better client.
