Physicians "Opinions" Often a Sham

In their never-ending efforts to maximize profits, insurance companies court physicians to provide "medical opinions" that are favorable to the insurance company.

In Montana, a class action lawsuit has been brought against USAA Insurance Company for retaining physicians to review hundreds of cases and providing medical opinions that were fully favorable to the insurance company. These favorable opinions were reached by "physicians" though physicians never saw the patients or even adequately reviewed the medical records. These "opinions" are a complete sham and a method for USAA to maximize profits.
