Motorists From Outside of Montana WATCH THIS VIDEO
Lucas Foust:
Hi, this is Lucas Foust from Foust Law Office, and I'm here to answer a quick question. Surprisingly, I receive this question very frequently. Here's the question I receive. I was visiting Montana and I was in a car crash that wasn't my fault, what should I do?
Lucas Foust:
Well, this question comes to me more often than you might think, because so many motorists come from out of state to travel through Montana, to vacation, to visit our national parks, or on the way from say Chicago to Seattle. But if you're from out of state and you've been an automobile collision, if you wish to pursue a claim and bring a lawsuit potentially, you must hire an attorney from Montana to file that lawsuit. If you were in a car crash in this state, chances are that Montana law will apply to this incident. As a result, it would be in your best interest to contact a Montana attorney.
Lucas Foust:
One thing you can also do is you can download my book, Abandoned on the Road: A Guide to Insurance Law in Montana. This will answer a lot of the questions that you already be thinking or already have, even if you're from out of state. You can also contact my office and we're happy to provide any information, any other educational material, other videos, et cetera, to answer other questions that you might have. At Foust Law Office, we believe that an informed client is a better client.
