Born just a few miles from the office in the old hospital on Willson Avenue, Heather grew up in Belgrade, Montana, and graduated from Belgrade High School in 1998. Her interest in law led her to work as a paralegal in Missoula soon after high school. When she joined Foust Law Office as a paralegal almost 11 years ago, Heather found a home in more ways than one. She and Lucas were married in 2013, and they now work together to offer compassionate, committed representation to seriously injured clients across Montana.

The Seventh Amendment to the U.S. Constitution guarantees citizens the right to a trial by a jury of their peers in civil cases. Heather’s company, Seventh Amendment Productions, is a jury research and consulting firm. By organizing jury research projects, Heather helps lawyers address concerns they have with their cases throughout Montana and Wyoming. Through her social media system, Heather gathers community members fitting various demographic groups to create high-quality test runs of cases to help attorneys better prepare for trial.

Life Outside the Office
Heather’s passion outside of work is exercise and physical fitness. She has competed in figure and bikini competitions in California and Montana. Next on the docket for Heather and Lucas is to expand their family as soon as possible!
